After you’ve conceptualized the type of house you’re looking to build, it’s time to find the location of where your new home will reside. Now contrary to what many real estate brokers out there preach, there’s much more to a piece of property than just location. Our years of experience in construction and entitlements have revealed that many real estate brokers are just not educated enough to properly sell to Clients who are looking to build a new home. The fact is, many brokers are unfamiliar with the zoning and entitlements process of each municipality, which is what ultimately determines what can and cannot be built on a piece of property. This is why we created our own real estate brokerage company named Sexton Properties.

The intention we set out to achieve was to specifically focus on assisting our Clients in finding and selecting the perfect property to build their new home on while factoring in components such as zoning, setbacks, easements, accessibility, soils, topography, taxes, pricing, etc.  So, if you haven’t already found or own the piece of property you’re looking to build on, just remember that we are more than capable to assist you in your search. Now if you already have the property, the next stage would be to confirm that what you want on the property can actually be built there.
